Hindsight is a beautiful thing
So the saying goes, and there is truth in that: the only way you can learn from experience to do things differently in future is by looking back on what went well and what didn’t, and look for what made it go that way.
What has 2025 been like for you? My gift to you as the year is coming to a close is a quick stock-taking tool for your life. Recognizing what’s been valuable this year will help build on it in the next, so you can keep evolving.
All you need is this:
⏱ about 15 minutes of undisturbed time for yourself
👼curiosity about yourself and your life
❔the stock-taking questions:
What gives you the most happiness right now?
What have you done to nurture that this past year?
What is the most valuable new insight you have gained this year?
What do you regret? Simply identify, don’t dwell on it. Let it be for now. If it is important to come back to, it will resurface in due course.
Approach this with the curiosity and wonder of a child. Don’t analyse; let answers surface. They will when you let them. Some will present themselves easily. Others may bubble up during the quieter days. It’s all valuable data. Accept it as a gift.
Enjoy the holidays, rest, and be merry!
I will be taking time off myself, so if you would like to give me a call best wait till the new year.
